Incredibly Rich Stew

1/4 cup of plain flour
salt and pepper
800g beef, cut into 3cm cubes
1/4 cup oil
1 brown onion, chopped
1 clove crushed garlic
1 cup red wine
1 1/2 cups stock
1 1/2 cups tomato pasta sauce
2 tsp finely grated orange rind
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes
1/4 cup parsley

Season flour with salt and pepper, toss the beef in flour

Heat 1 Tbs oil, cook beef until brown. Remove from pot.

Add more oil to pot, heat, cook onion and garlic until the onion softens.

Add the beef and other ingredients, except for parsley.

Cook for two hours at 180 degrees in a covered dish.

(Nice with a creamy mashed potato.)
